Quentin Johnson has a background in the broader drinks industry
and international marketing. His career has taken him all over the world,
often happily providing excellent local tasting opportunities.
He has been buying (and drinking!) wine for many years, and even by Matthew's standards, has put together a pretty useful cellar. His passions are in particular Burgundy and Australia, although the rest of the New World and Italy occupy an increasing amount of cellar space. His other interests include cars, motorsport and real tennis.

matthewjukes.com was established to make finding good wine easier.
Matthew brings you the benefit of his tastings of thousands of wine per year, picking out his top finds. Then he writes about them in plain English. Matthew
enjoys his wine, and likes to write about them that way. That doesn’t stop him
from giving you an insight into the people, places and techniques behind
the wines, but without bombarding you with jargon.
matthewjukes.com is completely independent. And covers the whole UK
market. Any wine featured is because Matthew rates it, full stop.
matthewjukes.com does not sell wine - but helps you find the best and most interesting wines, and tells you where you can buy them.
